RESEARCH: CLASS EXERCISE
Name something you have researched in the past for art, design or media.
I have researched Henrik Moses.
Explain how you researched this.
I have been looking for artists using different pencil techniques for my 2D task. I found Henrik Moses on one of the websites. I was impressed with his work so I tried to delve into the Internet and gain more data. This is how I reached his own website: http://www.artility.nl/ Thanks to it, I discovered a major number of awe-inspiring artworks. However, I wanted to know about the author himself, so I started looking for information again and I reached: https://www.artgalaxie.com/artists/details?id=375&artist_name=henrik-moses where I found what I was looking for.
What facts did you discover?
I gained the main inspiration for two of my projects - 3D and DA - from Moses' artwork "Dancer". The crumpled paper became the leading theme of my future fashion collection. I also used this motif as an element in my Box Construction project to make dresses for little models.

Research into my major project.
My major project is a fashion collection containing 6 outfits. I plan to do detail research on fashion historically as well because everything was already in vogue and most ideas could be obtained from old projects. I want to delve more into the history of fashion, although I know it well, I think there is still a lot to discover for me.

After that, I want to do major research on fashion designers. I have already chosen a couple of them, therefore, my plan is to take a tour through the library, which offers plenty of choices, and find the books or articles that will be interesting and helpful for me.
Research through my major project.
For my major project, I have to experiment with the software I want to use, which is Adobe Illustrator Draw (the free version of Adobe Illustrator on iPad), Adobe Photoshop Sketch and Sketchbook. I will also use Pixlr to add the materials, Lightroom to adjust the final pieces and PicsArt to add special effects if needed.
Before I start creating my collection, I need to define the target market, the trends, colour palette and fabrics I also need to make a mood board. Then, I can start designing my collection.
Research for my major project.
For my major project, I am going to delve into ways to transfer and scale material structures. I also want to discover more techniques for digital drawing.
I think your 'history of fashion' is a little too broad - I am sure that you need to be much more specific in regard to actually researching your project - I think also that the last question was about concept so it would be good again if you looked much more specifically at your project and what you really need to learn here
